National Webinar on "Site specific mapping of the oral microbiome and resistome in young adult healthy subject using next generation sequencing"

The Department of Microbiology organized a National Webinar on “Site specific mapping of oral microbiome and resistome in young adult healthy subjects using next generation sequencing” on 25th of February 2022. Dr. T. Yugendran, Principal scientist, Elango Genetics Pvt Ltd delivered a lecture. He elaborated the audience with his experiences in genomic sequencing of oral microbiome and resistomes, its clinical implication and future research prospective. The presentation was followed by meaningful and healthy discussion among the guest speaker and the delegates. The webinar was well attended by students and faculties from our institution and others. A total of 280 delegates attended, including students and faculties with 151 external delegates registered.
